Following is a sampling of jobs with the mean and median wages for Eastern Washington. The mean wage is the average wage which is calculated by adding together all the wages in a particular classification and dividing by the number of wage earners. The median wage represents the wage which is in the middle with half the wages being greater and just as many being less. Specific jobs and their related wages may differ within the Palouse Economic Development Council area as compared to all of Eastern Washington.
